The Function of Various Vacuum Pumps in Vacuum System
Because the performance of all kinds of vacuum pumps can meet the common point of vacuumizing the container, but there are still differences. Therefore, it is very important to make clear the work tasks of the pump in the vacuum system when selecting. The functions of the pump in various work fields are summarized as follows.
1. Be the main pump in the system
the so-called main pump is a vacuum pump that directly vacuumizes the evacuated container of the vacuum system, so as to obtain the required vacuum degree to meet the process requirements.
2. Crude pump
crude pumping refers to a vacuum pump that starts from atmospheric pressure and reduces the pressure of the vacuum system to another pumping system.
3. Front stage pump
pre stage pump refers to a vacuum pump used to maintain the pre stage pressure of another pump below its maximum allowable pre stage pressure.
4. Maintenance pump
Maintenance pump means that when the vacuum system is pumping very little, the main pre-stage pump cannot be effectively used. In order to maintain the normal operation of the main pump or the low-pressure vacuum pump needed for the evacuated container, an auxiliary front stage pump with a smaller pumping speed is provided in the vacuum system.
5. Coarse vacuum pump or low vacuum pump
coarse and low vacuum pump refers to the vacuum pump that starts from the atmosphere and works in the range of low vacuum or coarse vacuum pressure after reducing the pressure of the pumped container.
6. High vacuum pump
high vacuum pump refers to the vacuum pump working in the high vacuum range.
7. Ultra high vacuum pump
ultra high vacuum pump refers to the vacuum pump working in the ultra-high vacuum range.
- Booster pump
Booster pump usually refers to the vacuum pump which works between the low vacuum pump and the high vacuum pump to improve the air extraction of the air extraction system in the middle pressure range or reduce the air extraction rate requirements of the previous pump.
