Product Introduction and Application of Metal Bellows Hose Series
1. Corrugated metal hose (hose for short) is a high-quality flexible pipe in modern industrial pipelines. It is mainly composed of bellows, mesh sleeves and joints. Its inner tube is a thin-walled stainless steel corrugated tube with a spiral or annular wave shape, and the outer sleeve of the corrugated tube is made of stainless steel wire or steel strip according to certain parameters. The joints or flanges at both ends of the hose are matched with the joints or flanges of the customer’s pipeline.
2. The corrugated tube of the hose is formed by high-precision plastic processing of extremely thin-walled seamless or longitudinal welded stainless steel pipes. Due to the elastic characteristics of the bellows profile, the hose has good flexibility and fatigue resistance, which makes it easy to absorb various motion deformations and cyclic loads, especially in pipeline systems with the ability to compensate for large displacements. In addition to the original sophisticated equipment for making hoses, our factory has recently introduced two high-precision, high-tech corrugated tube automatic welding forming production lines from Japan, which greatly improves the quality of the hose and makes the length of the hose not affected. Limitations meet the needs of extra long hoses.
3.The mesh sleeve is the main pressure-receiving part of the hose installed in the pressure pipeline, and it also acts as a sheath for the bellows. Depending on the pressure in the pipeline and the application site, one or more layers of stainless steel wire or steel can be selected. With knitting, the pressure range of Kang Rui brand hose is generally PN0.6-32.0Mpa. Up to 42.0MPa.
4.Because the material of the main parts of the hose is austenitic stainless steel, the excellent temperature and corrosion resistance of the hose are guaranteed.The operating temperature range of the hose is -196-600 degrees. Corrosion resistance of the hose can be ensured by selecting a suitable stainless steel grade according to the corrosiveness of the medium passing through the pipeline.
5.The corrugated metal hose has many characteristics such as good softness, fatigue resistance, high pressure resistance, high and low temperature resistance, and corrosion resistance. Its life is much longer than other hoses (rubber, plastic hoses). Therefore, it has higher comprehensive economic benefits. With the development of modern industry, the demand for high temperature and high pressure resistant corrugated metal hoses is increasing.
6. Application range of hoses: Conveying pipes that need to be flexible enough to prevent piping in vibration spaces are applicable to steam, gas, air, heavy oil, petroleum, chemicals, etc.
