The maintenance of the vacuum pump is very important, including the following points that need special attention.
(1) Check whether the oil level is low dry oil mark regularly. If the oil level is low dry oil mark, oil should be added in time. If the oil level is low dry oil mark, it will affect the vacuum degree of vacuum pump. The oil volume should not be too much, otherwise it will cause difficulties in starting, oil injection and other problems,
(2) In the maintenance of vacuum pump, we should always pay attention to whether the vacuum pump operates normally, whether there is special sound, whether the machine is overloaded, and whether the temperature opening of motor vacuum pump is too high,
(3) For the vacuum pump cooled by water, the cooling water shall be prevented from being interrupted, and the temperature of the vacuum pump shall not exceed 70 ℃. If the ambient temperature is 5 ℃ low, the cooling water in the vacuum pump shall be drained after shutdown to prevent the vacuum pump from freezing and cracking,
(4) The vacuum pump shall be kept clean through belt, and no other objects shall be placed on the vacuum pump,
(5) If necessary, adjust or replace the belt,
(6) The vacuum pump oil should be changed 1-3 times a year. The mechanical vacuum pump for vacuum melting may change oil many times a month. This is because during the use of the dry vacuum pump, the vacuum pump oil will be polluted by ash, moisture or other dirt, or soap, carbonization, which will affect the performance of the vacuum pump. Therefore, it is necessary to change oil regularly according to the specific situation
